Our Mission

The MPAI exists to be the authoritative voice for all music publishers in Ireland, raising the profile of our industry, advocating for copyright and the rights of our publisher and creator community and providing information and training for our members.

Our Board

The Board oversees the running of the association and sets the strategic and operational focus on an annual basis. Appointments to the MPAI Board are voted upon by the membership at the annual MPAI AGM.

Through its membership of the International Confederation of Music Publishers (ICMP), MPAI is actively involved in international lobbying efforts to increase copyright protection in a rapidly evolving commercial, digital and legislative landscape. MPAI also works closely with other industry organisations such as  the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) on Irish advocacy initiatives, ensuring that the local music publishers have a strong voice on the Irish legislative agenda and across the Irish creative sector.

Membership is open to all music publishers with a presence in the Irish marketplace. Current members include international major and independent publishing companies and local Irish independent publishers.
